In\u00eas Feliciano is a self-employed conservator based in Lisbon, Portugal. She has a BA in Art History and a Master’s in Conservation from the NOVA School of Science and Technology, specialised in ceramic materials. Since 2003, she has worked in the conservation and restoration of ceramics, glass, Portuguese Azulejos (tiles) and inorganic archaeological objects, collaborating with public institutions, museums, antique dealers and private collectors.  She has worked in museums and palaces both nationally and internationally, including the Pal\u00e1cio Nacional da Pena and the Museu do Oriente, in Portugal.  She has also worked at the National Museum in Oman in the Middle East and at the Salzburg Museum, Schloss Hellbrunn and Schloss Leopoldskron, both in Salzburg, Austria. She is currently undertaking a PhD in the Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage at the NOVA School of Science and Technology, based at the Museu Nacional do Azulejo, (MNAz). The title of her PhD is “A Journey Through Portuguese Tiles from the 16th to 19th Centuries: Technology and Conservation’. In 2023, she was awarded the Nigel Williams Prize by ICON (The Institute of Conservation) in the UK.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
